This website is a place for me to store my “favorite” work and to quickly refer to when I need to look something up, like where I went, what I ate, or what I’ve done or can do. Half portfolio, half journal diary, 100 percent identity crisis. Welcome to the page!
Casey was born and raised in San Francisco during a time when Teslas didn’t roam the streets, and a phallic skyscraper in the middle of downtown was yet to be erected. Through his time in the Bay, he learned the importance of community and the collective experiences that bond one another.
From this knowledge, he went out to further his studies of media arts and storytelling. With his neurodivergent brain (ADHD), Casey went on to discover many new hobbies that occupied his time, which fueled his curiosity in learning and sharing stories with anyone willing to offer it.
In 2018, Casey made the leap to pursue a career in marriage, family, and couples counseling in the PNW. Casey continues to navigate his new environment and home north of California. Through his newfound time outside of the Bay Area bubble, he’s learned more about himself introspectively, creatively, and socially and has been challenged mentally, emotionally, and spiritually more than ever before. Though he continues to run into hurdles, he finds himself turning back to avenues of storytelling to help process and grow with his peers and community.
(Why did I decide to talk in 3rd person all of a sudden?)
